We also supply round bins with stainless steel foot pedals for the medical industry, commercial kitchens etc, and domestic household use...including industrial use 50 litre and 35 litre infectious waste, bio hazard and cytotoxic bins available with hands-free stainless steel foot-pedal opening capabilities (Medical Bins).

		A recent addition to our range is the BIG Lid Lifta®, for 660 litre, 1000 and 1100 litre 4-wheeled industrial bins. The BIG Lid Lifta® can be purchased as a complete unit (bin with foot pedal attached) and is also available to be retro-fitted to your own bins (device can be sold independent to bin depending on make and specifications of the bin). NOTE: The Retro-Fit option is only available for 660, 1000 and 1100 litre bins.

Operation of the Lid Lifta® wheelie bin lid-lifting foot-pedal device on standard bins and Wrightway Bins:

If the bin is to be used in a confined space, the opening heights of the Lid Lifta® wheelie bin lid lifter device can be set to facilitate effective use whilst preventing the lid from striking the underside of the bench during operation (no banging).

The Lid Lifta® foot-pedal operated bin-lid lifting device has been designed specifically for industrial use and has been in constant use in diverse industries since 1996.

The stainless steel Lid Lifta® wheelie bin lid lifter device is securely attached to 35 and 50 litre round bins, 240, 120, 80 or 60 litre wheelie bins, and cannot be removed from the bin. Does not interfere with collection by waste trucks.

Leave lid open for extended use, then close again using the foot pedal:

... the lid lifts to the fully open position when the foot pedal is depressed and the foot is lifted from the device. This allows the bin lid to remain fully open for extended use. The lid is closed by depressing the device a second time. The bin is opened and closed without the operator ever touching the lid.

Partial opening to dispose of waste without touching the bin lid:

... the bin-lid lifts to a pre-specified height enabling waste to be placed in the bin. The lid automatically closes when the foot pedal is released. The degree of opening is determined by the level of pressure applied by the operator whose hands do not touch any part of the bin during the open-use-close operation.
